Before your first report

A few useful details.

Your expertise stays central.
Every report starts as a draft for review.

Does the report certify compliance?

No. It is a draft assessment based on the evidence supplied. A competent person must check every finding, citation, risk rating and action. It does not replace a risk assessment or statutory inspection.

Which regulations can the analysis use?

The library includes PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, PSSR, DSEAR, CDM 2015, Electricity at Work, Work at Height, Manual Handling, Workplace Regulations, the Fire Safety Order, Confined Spaces and the Health and Safety at Work Act. Review which requirements apply to the work and location.

What if the evidence is incomplete?

A finding can be marked Further information required or Not assessed. Review the draft and obtain the records, measurements or further inspection needed before reaching a conclusion.

Does it assign tasks or track later visits?

The report records proposed owners, timescales and action status. It does not dispatch tasks, maintain an edit history or automatically carry actions into a later visit. Each new visit is a separate job.

Can I name another standard or policy?

You can name a standard, regulation or policy for the analysis to consider alongside the supplied evidence. Check its applicability and every resulting reference during professional review.

Can I explore a report now?

Yes. The safety sample is available without signing in. You can review its findings and action plan in the browser. Join the early access list to hear when access opens for your own visits.
